THE FIRST 50 PROGRAM

The First 50 is an organic movement of approximately 50 High School leaders that over the course of a three-month period will receive hands-on leadership, community organizing, and peer mentoring training. They work with the local and state politicians, the police department, local churches, and other community based organizations. Upon completion of the first three-month cycle these First 50 are challenged to recruit 2 of their classmates and walk them through the three-month program. As the number of students increase the positive impact on the community multiplies.
